The patent on this gambrel proves that most anything can be improved on and advanced, even something as common as a gambrel. The gambrel we used for decades was simply a piece of 1" pipe with j-bolts in the ends and a u-bolt in the middle. We must have skinned a thousand deer with that thing over the years. But looking at it, we knew there was a whole lot better way to do it.
